I always seem to listen to this song when entering or leaving New York.
A lot of my best AND worst times have been on a bus in between Baltimore and New York. It always feels like limbo.

Usually at dusk or shortly after is when I end up on a bus normally. The sky is always so much more saturated than seems natural, and the lights in lower manhattan all flick on. Oftentimes this makes me miss the city, other times it makes me so happy to be leaving.

I could really go for a break now. It’s a good thing Spring Break is next week. I’m starting to feel trapped in the confines of the city and really need an escape. Trees. Old Friends. The King and Queen Seat, My 3 Sons, DRIVING, Poncho and Cisco, my parents. It’ll be so good to get back to Maryland for a few days.
